Linda Kay Simpson Bearce-loving person to the end
Donation protected
Sadly, Linda had no burial or life insurance. These donations will help her husband Mike (38 years), with all the expenses and medical bills associated with her illness and passing. We discovered she had even pawned her wedding rings. In grief, Mike is pressing forward with life and any small amount will help him.
Over the years I have donated to so many of these GoFundMe pages, but this is my first attempt at starting one. As you all may know, Mike Bearce, my brother-in-law lost his wife, my sweet sister Linda Kay, on Thursday morning March 23. She succumbed to the horrible disease of Scleroderma.
I've decided to start a GoFundMe page in "Memory of Linda Bearce" to assist her husband with all of the many expenses. Linda was one of the sweetest people you could ever meet. She was a loving mom to 2 boys, faithful and loving wife, a grandmother to 4 grandkids, a sweet niece, a caring daughter and the most incredible sister I could ask for.
Linda suffered from Scleroderma (an incurable autoimmune disease) for over 15 years. It began by attacking her skin, but 4 years ago it migrated from her skin into her lungs. She was given 2 years to live but survived for 4. 1 year ago it attacked her esophagus and she had to have a feeding tube put in.
She was in and out of the hospital for most of the last 2 years. She had no life insurance or burial insurance. Her husband has been unable to walk for almost 3 years and the bills he is left with are enormous. Any amount no matter the size is greatly appreciated and whatever is left will be donated to the #NationalSclerodermaFoundation.
Thank you so much!
