On February 13, 2019, after a long, well-fought battle with cancer, heaven called home one of it’s brightest angels: Linda Nelson Middleton. Linda's battle with cancer began in May of 2011. Family and friends were relieved when it seemed that Linda's struggle was over. But the cancer soon came back, stronger and more aggressive.
Linda spend the next three years fighting as hard as she could. She did everything in her power to maintain a sense of normalcy for her three children, Jillian, Hailey, and Trevor. Even in times of stress and sickness, Linda showed up; at work, for her family, for her friends, and most effortlessly, for her children.
In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting donations on behalf of the three children during this heartbreaking time.
It was incredibly important to Linda that her children would be taken care of. Jillian, Hailey, and Trevor shared a special bond with their mother that was incredibly heartwarming to witness.
Linda embodied all things good. She was a kind spirit with an infectious laugh, and her love for life inspired us all to live more deeply.
The family would also like to leave a special note for all who lived in Linda's community. It has been incredibly overwhelming to see how loved Linda was. The outpouring of support for the family has been powerful, and we are eternally grateful.
