Linda Harley has helped this community for many years and now she needs our help.
Linda became very ill on Friday, July 6th and was rushed to Santa Maria Chapalita Hospital in Guadalajara, where it was determined that she had had a heart attack. The cardiologist placed 2 stents to open up the artery.
Linda is recovering but the hospital will not take her insurance and she is now forced to deal with the financial anguish. The hospital bill is approximately $212,000 pesos plus she will not be allowed to work for some time.
Many of you know Linda as the owner and chef of AbueLinda's Cuisine in Ajijc and have enjoyed her wonderful classes. She is also quite involved with helping the less fortunate around Lake Chapala, especially the Ancianitas Home on the south side of Lake Chapala.
Please help this wonderful woman get back on her feet!
