It's been four and a half years since our mom, Linda Gutierrez, was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She has been through many rounds with different chemotherapies, some won and some not so good.

In 2018, MDAnderson advised us that it was quality of life and there wasn't anything they could do. She still went through more chemotherapy here in El Paso. Unfortunately, the chemotherapy stopped working due to the disease progression and has metastasized.

Because of this, there is an increase in pain and discomfort, which has caused her to be bedridden and has had to stop working. Teaching was her escape, her kindergarteners willingness to learn would brighten her day. As much as she didn't want to, she has put her house on the market and has moved in with family.

We come to you family and friends to donate anything you can. We ask you for help with her medical and personal bills that have accumulated. Since she is on disability from her work she will no longer be able to afford most bills. Thank for you time and we love you all.
