Linda Fodor: Gone Too Soon
Donation protected
Our community has suffered an unimaginable loss. Linda Fodor, a beloved mother, sister, friend, and soul, has left us far too soon.
What began as a routine epidural for her neck turned into a devastating health crisis. Her condition deteriorated rapidly, and she was placed on a ventilator and in a medically induced coma. Linda’s immune system was already compromised due to her psoriasis treatments, making it even harder for her body to fight the relentless infections. For eight long weeks, Linda fought with everything she had in the ICU. There were moments of hope—moments when her family and friends thought she might pull through. Everyone sent messages, pictures, and video calls, reminding her how much she was loved and how we were all rooting for her recovery. But despite her incredible strength, her body could no longer respond to the treatments and doctors had to deliver the heartbreaking news: Linda's body was shutting down.
On October 9, 2024, surrounded by family, Linda took her final breath. Her daughters, who live in Las Vegas, were able to say their final goodbye through a video call, sharing their love with their mother one last time.
After two months in the ICU, her family is now left with not only the deep grief of her loss but also an overwhelming financial burden from her medical bills and end-of-life expenses.
We are still in shock. One day Linda was fine; the next, she was fighting for her life. It’s hard to understand how someone can be taken away so suddenly, without warning. The family has been by her side throughout, and their loss is beyond words. Those of us who were lucky enough to call Linda a friend feels the same.
We are reaching out to ask for your prayers and support during this incredibly difficult time. If you are able, any donation—no matter the size—will help ease the financial strain on her family as they navigate this heartbreaking journey.
Thank you for your love and generosity.
With love and remembrance.
