We were doing great there for a while and then Linda got cancer. Over the next few years it was one operation after the other, and to this point she has had 17 procedures. Last year she spent 5 months in the hospital dealing with complications from illnesses leaving us with a hospital bill that is monumental in size. Now we find ourselves in a situation where I've had to stop work to look after her on a daily basis in a house that needs carpentry, plumbing and electrical work. We could probably make it if it weren't for these debilitating medical bills. Anything that comes up that's out of the ordinary causes us to fall short. If there's anything that you or your friends can do to help us in our current situation, that would be greatly appreciated as every month that slides by it becomes more and more evident that we are not going to make it.
