Many of you may know my mother, Linda Crews (Crewsie). She has been active in the Dallas-Gastonia community for years. She worked at North Gaston High School and Bessemer City High School and was the Cheer Coach at both schools for numerous years. If you don't know her, your kids probably do! She's never met a stranger.
Linda has finally been added to the transplant list for a new liver. Her total patient out of pocket expense is $9100. That is a $4000 medical and a $5100 pharmacy bill, both all out of pocket. We've set the goal at $9365 to cover the fees that we're assessed.
She has been struggling with her health for years and it has been financially difficult. All monies will go toward these health expenses. I am her sole care-giver and will ensure these donations are used appropriately. No one else will will have access to the funds. Any help would be appreciated. We are so happy that she has gotten a chance to get a new liver and a better quality of life.
