My stepmom, Linda Morris, suffered an aneurysm to her aorta causing her to have a heart attack this past Labor Day weekend. This resulted in her having open heart surgery, where they found the right side of her to be damaged and weakened. She is now in need of a heart transplant. Her doctors at Duke are hard at work to get Linda to the point where she can become a transplant candidate so she can get the new heart her body is needing. Linda has a long road ahead but has been such the fighter thus far! We want to help eliminate some of the stress from the family by raising whatever we can to assist them with medical bills and future expenses, such as therapies and medication costs.
