Two Deserving Souls in Dire Need of Funds to Move
Linda is a lovely, kind, warm-hearted grandmother who has worked as my little nephew's live-in nanny for the last three years. Her wonderfulness as a child-care provider, friend, and overall human being truly could not be overstated!
Trevor, Linda's beloved, high-school-aged grandson (pictured as a baby, in Linda's arms), is a hard-working, ethical young man who has endured extraordinary hardship throughout his childhood, and now lives in my sister's house, under Linda's guardianship.
Due to the sudden, shocking incapacitation of my sister, Linda and Trevor are about to lose their affordable home, right on the heels of Linda losing her nannying position (which supplements her meager social-security income enough for her to help support Trevor -- who works as many hours as he can, outside of school).
Linda and Trevor are frantically searching for a new place to live, under incredibly tight budgetary constraints, just as Linda is seeking a new job -- and they simply don't have enough available funds between them to pay for a rental deposit, first and last month's rent, and basic furniture in North County San Diego, where Trevor is in school.
I would give anything to be in a position to help Linda and Trevor financially myself, but (to my despair), I am not. If anyone out there would be able to offer even a small hand to help two wonderful people get on their feet, Linda and Trevor -- and my whole family -- would be incredibly grateful.
Thank you very much for reading, and with warm wishes to you all,
Lori
