Linda and Her Mother's Reunion

My mother, Linda Douglas, grew up in Germany up until the age of 14. At that point in her life, she moved to the United States with her father, who thought that that would be the best way to start a new life. However, my grandmother wanted to stay in Germany, where she had become attached. Over the years, my mother and Oma mended their relationship and love each other so much. Oma calls almost daily to let my momknow how she is praying for her and the family, even my dad who is now split from my mother. That year of 1978 was the last time my mother had the privelage of seeing Oma. It is now 2017, 39 years later and my mother hasn't been able to afford to go back as funds in our family run relatively low.

My mother is an amazing woman: selfless beyond compare, loving without condition, and a servant of God. She has grown so much in her life and all she does is worry and care about other people. The first time she ever expressed to me that she really wanted something was when she told me about how she hadn't seen Oma since 1978 and wanted to see her again before she passes on. My grandmother is in her mid 80s. 

I am a college student, so I am rather dry in terms of money and my other siblings and father are in a financially tough time as well. I would like to be able to have the funds by February 28th to be able to send her to Germany in April or this summer. I want to be able to give  her this one thing, but that would only be possible with your aid. The support from you guys would make me euphoric beyond anything else. My gratitude for each and every one of you who donates would be immeasurable. She doesn't know that I am doing this for her until she reads this on Facebook, but if anyone deserves this, it is her.
