Linda Acosta’s (LA) Journey to Home

This is one of my best friends (Linda Acosta). We’ve been friends for 25 years. She is more like a sister to me. She suffered a brain aneurysm in June 2020. I’m so proud of the progress she has made. She’s one of the strongest women I know. She’s an amazing daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother, grandmother & friend. She had a set back in October two days before she would have been discharged to her home. Now her journey is starting over. Unfortunately insurance will not pay for her to move to the next level of care. In order to reach their requirements she needs 1-1/2 hours of rehab each day but insurance will only pay for a half hour.

As we approach the holiday season my heart is heavy for this sweet family. If you’re able to help any amount will be greatly appreciated. I know my sweet friend and her family would be so grateful. Please keep them in your prayers.
