Lincolnshire Firefighter Needs Our Help!
Donation protected
Hi, thank you for taking the time to look at our page, we are attempting to raise money to help a Lincolnshire fire and rescue colleague and valued member of our community.
Linconshire firefighter of 19 years needs our help!
Shane Taylor L.F.R Billingborough has once again fallen foul of illness. Following a recent check up on related previous issues Shane was admitted urgently to the Queens medical centre in Nottingham and received an emergency head scan to reveal the previously removed and treated tumour had returned, but now more aggressively.
Additional immediate surgery was required to remove where possible the returned tumour, subsequent surgery resulted in 2 blood clots and caused a stroke, resulting in paralysis down the left side. Shane has now been in Queens for 5 weeks and remains in a critical but stable condition and makes small progress each day…but it is going to be a long road back.
Whilst incapacitated he has had little or no income, friends have rallied round to support him and his family where possible, but we now need to open this up to the wider community and the L.F.R family.
Anyone who knows Shane knows that he is not only a dedicated servant of L.F.R but the community in general; he’d be the first to help anyone with anything.
Now it’s his turn to receive our assistance. He is considered by his friends and family to be a very proud man but when you need help…you need help…So let’s get together and support him in his hour of need.
Thank You
