Karissa and Hunter were blessed with the birth of their son, Lincoln, on March 31, 2025. On April 4, 2025, Karissa took Lincoln to a routine appointment for newborns. The clinic sent them to the ER and the ER sent them to Oklahoma University (OU) Children’s Hospital by ambulance with an incubator. Lincoln was then admitted to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). The medical team’s best guess at this time is that Lincoln has some kind of infection. Lincoln improved over the first 24 hours; however, it is not known how long they will be at OU Children’s.
Intensive care ambulances and hospital stays are expensive as you can imagine. Medical expenses are not yet known but are expected to be more than they can comfortably afford. Any contribution will help.
