Thank you for taking the time to read this! Hannah and Jacob are one of the sweetest couples you could ever know. They have been married only a year and a half, and have spent the last eight months excitedly awaiting the arrival of their son, Lincoln. They have seamlessly transitioned into the role of loving and protective parents, but it has not gone as expected.

His mother Hannah writes:
"Lincoln Daniel Cleary was born August 27 at 4:26 pm. He is 6 pounds 14 ounces and 21 inches long. He has the most beautiful long dark brown hair, and Jacob and I are absolutely obsessed with him!
I just want to thank everybody again for their support. I cannot put into words how much it means to me to know that Lincoln has so many people that care about him and are rallying behind him.
When Lincoln was born he was placed on me then instantly taken off. They had to resuscitate him and pull fluid out of his lungs. After a little over 20 minutes I finally got my little boy back. Sadly, the troubles didn’t end there. Lincoln was showing signs of seizures. They had to do tests to confirm the seizures and he was admitted to the NICU at Cleveland Clinic Fairview hospital the morning of 8/28. On 8/29 he had to be transferred to Cleveland Clinic Main Campus for further assistance as the seizures were not getting better. He is still at Main Campus, and I try to spend every waking minute with him. Jacob and I are trying our best to stay positive. It is just so hard to see my 3 day old baby like this. He is supposed to be cuddled and kissed, and not being able to hold him is the hardest thing in the world.
Talking about all of this is very hard for me. I cannot handle thinking too much about how much Lincoln is struggling. Also, at the time we do not wish to share any more information on how he is doing. I will be posting updates as I feel comfortable doing so.
