Hola, mi nombre es Lina Pérez, soy colombiana y dentista internacional.

Hace 4 años comencé este camino lleno de retos para poder ejercer mi pasión: la odontología. Durante este tiempo he tenido que presentar numerosos exámenes, obtener mi licencia de higienista dental en Estados Unidos y trabajar duro mientras aplicaba a diferentes universidades.

Con mucho esfuerzo y perseverancia logré ser aceptada en el programa de Doctorado en Medicina Dental (DMD) de la Universidad de Puerto Rico, donde ya he completado un año de estudios. Hoy estoy a tan solo 9 meses de alcanzar mi meta y graduarme como dentista en EE. UU.

Sin embargo, el camino no ha sido fácil. Desafortunadamente, mi préstamo estudiantil no fue aprobado en su totalidad y actualmente me hacen falta $35,000 USD para poder cubrir mis estudios y culminar esta etapa tan importante de mi vida.

Cada aporte, por pequeño que parezca, significa mucho: es un paso más hacia la culminación de un sueño que no es solo mío, sino también de todas las personas que podré ayudar con mi profesión. Mi vocación siempre a ha sido servir, brindar salud oral y sonrisas a quienes más lo necesitan.

Hello, my name is Lina Pérez, I am Colombian and an international dentist.

Four years ago, I began this path full of challenges so I could practice my passion: dentistry. During this time, I have had to take numerous exams, obtain my dental hygienist license in the United States, and work hard while applying to different universities.

With a lot of effort and perseverance, I was accepted into the Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) program at the University of Puerto Rico, where I have already completed one year of studies. Today, I am just 9 months away from reaching my goal and graduating as a dentist in the U.S.

However, the journey has not been easy. Unfortunately, my student loan was not fully approved, and I currently need $35,000 USD to cover my studies and complete this very important stage of my life.

Every contribution, no matter how small it may seem, means a lot: it is one more step toward fulfilling a dream that is not only mine, but also belongs to all the people I will be able to help with my profession. My vocation has always been to serve, to provide oral health and smiles to those who need it most.
