Hi, my name is Lucelly and I am starting this for my friend Lina who is battling an aggressive breast cancer and is in great need of financial assistance. Please if you find it in your heart, donate if you can to help her fight this.

from Lina:

To whom it may concern,

My name is Lina Jaramillo. I am 30 years old and have been diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer. I am reaching out for financial assistance to help with the costs of my treatment. I came to this country because it was difficult to find work and fulfill my dreams back home. Unfortunately, my health has taken a turn for the worse, and I now find myself facing this difficult situation.

It all started in October of 2022 when I felt a large, solid mass in my right breast. At first, I thought it was normal due to my menstrual cycle and didn't pay it much attention. However, as time went on, the mass continued to grow. In December of 2022, I began experiencing pain in my right breast, which was a cause for concern. I went to the hospital, but unfortunately, I did not have medical insurance, and they advised me to seek out a specialist on my own.

It wasn't until February of 2023 that I was finally able to see a doctor. During the exam, the doctor discovered three masses that had joined together and recommended I take the ultrasound images to a breast center to determine the best course of action. In April of 2023, I underwent mammograms on both breasts, and it was evident that something was not right. Three biopsies were performed on my right breast, and it was discovered that I have metastatic breast cancer that has spread to my lymph nodes.

Hearing this news was devastating, and I immediately thought of my family. I felt scared and uncertain of what the future would hold. Unfortunately, my insurance did not cover all of the expenses I would incur during my treatment, including medication, anesthesia, doctor visits, therapy, and transportation to and from the hospital. It has been a challenging time for me, and I do not have my family's physical support as they live in Colombia.

Despite these difficulties, I have been blessed with supportive friends and colleagues. I have recently begun chemotherapy, and I have been informed that I will lose my hair. As a woman, this is devastating news, but I am trying to remain positive and hopeful that everything will work out. I am grateful for any assistance and prayers that can be offered, and I trust that God will bless those who help me during this challenging time. Thank you for taking the time to read my story, and may God bless you abundantly.
