Lina Chavez Franco was a beautiful soul who was loved by many. She was a daughter, one of eleven sisters, a Tia to many nieces and nephews, a friend to many and most importantly a wife to the love of her life, Nick Franco.

A San Jose native, she graduated from James Lick High school in 1984. An alumni of West Valley College. She worked as a court reporter for The County of Santa Clara for 10+ years.

Lina was a genuine person with the most authentic personality. People gravitated towards her beautiful smile and infectious laugh. She was always the life of the party. She made everyone feel loved and important. Lina had a special nickname for every person in her family and she never forgot a birthday. She was always willing to lend an ear and listen.

God called her home on Saturday, July 16th. Our family is devastated by this loss. Lina could never be replaced, but we are lucky to have so many beautiful memories of her.
