Lina and Kenan are from Gaza. Kenan and his sister went out to play in the area that was deemed safe. He and his sister were then hit by a bomb. His sister was killed immediately. Kenan had his intestines and organs exposed due to the bomb and shards in his leg. He had to receive two 7 to 9 hour surgeries. One to close up his stomach and the other to fix his leg. The surgeon came out requesting Lina and her husband to allow him to amputate Kenan’s leg. They said no but we’re fearful during the surgery. They had no idea whether or not he would come out an amputee or not. Since then, Lina and kenan were brought to the US through heal Palestine. He underwent another surgery for the nerves in his legs. They are now in another country they have never been to before with no support no family and no friends. Lina had another baby girl and is now having to take care of both children by herself while fearing for her family who is still in Gaza. They are trying to rebuild their life that was taken from them, from scratch. I ask if you could please donate to help cover costs of living and help them rebuild their life. I have known them for only a short amount of time, but it feels like a lifetime. They are requesting funds for groceries, covering the needs of her children and other necessities.
