Ryan's Final Expenses

Ryan Scott was my student at South Pointe High School for many years.  He came to Rock Hill from Illinois to live with his sister and her family after losing his father and mother.    Even though I haven't been his teacher for a couple of years, I have maintained a friendship with Ryan and his family.  Ryan's infectious smile and knowing laugh made him a favorite in our classroom, at South Pointe, and certainly in my heart.  Sadly, Ryan's health is not good and we must accept that it is likely that he will not be with us much longer.  About a year ago, he had to leave his sister's house to live in a nursing home where he could get more intensive medical intervention.  There are so many difficult decisions and hurdles facing his family at this time.  Unfortunately, the social workers keep asking about final arrangements for Ryan and his family really does not have the financial means to provide for those needs at this time.  I would love for our community to raise enough money for Ryan to be able to rest peacefully alongside his mother in Illinois.  If you can help...even with a few dollars...it would be greatly appreciated.
