There are countless people who come into our lives that change and mold who we are- for better or worse. But there are a select few people in this world that alter our perception of how we view the world and our place in it simply by encountering their orbit. These special people possess a genuine and developed sense of self that can not be taught. It emits like a gravitational pull to those around them. They inspire and challenge others to better themselves simply by existing- not through force or instruction. Like the most majestic natural wonders of the world, a force that takes countless specific circumstances to align for a spectacular existence. An existence that can be imitated but never authentically duplicated. These people possess an innate unteachable ability to touch the souls of other just by being who they are.

 

James is one of these special individuals. Someone that is so many different things to so many different people. He is universally loved by countless people from a plethora of different walks of life and we will forever be indebted to the kindness, love, and inspiration he showed us. James will never leave us because he has become a part of each of our stories, our lives, who we are and will become. He will be passed on to the people we love in our lives because of the way he changed who we are and what we learned from him.
