The Lunigiana International Music Festival has two main missions:
1.to provide young talented musicians with one of a kind opportunities to be inspired by today
world-renowned music teachers
2. to serve as a reference in the cultural life in Lunigiana.
With your help, the festival will be able to expand the scope of its educational endeavors with private lessons, public masterclasses, language courses, concert tours in the region, “orchestra project”, and a competition.
The money raised will be spent entirely on the realization of the project with particular emphasis on:
1. Scholarships for the participants (each scholarship is starting from 200 Euro)
2.Media and recording of our concerts (3000 Euro)
3. The “Orchestra project”: Renting a theater to host our musicians (Location: 2000 Euro)
4. Workshops, Concerts, and masterclasses by visiting artists (starting at 500 Euro)
We want to give the opportunity to any student from around the world that shows talent and drive, regardless of economic standing, to take part in an event that could be life-changing.
This can all happen because of your generosity and participation!
The workshops will be based on the demands of the 21st-century musician navigating the world of the music business and self-management, which are absolutely necessary to the success of an artistic career. The teachers will provide an incentive for each student to enrich their network of professional contacts for future collaborations, very important in the world of music.
Furthermore, we strongly believe that true artistic growth can take place only with personal growth.
Fivizzano is one of the rare towns where you can still breathe an air of tradition and camaraderie which will allow our students and teachers to experience a uniquely intimate and family atmosphere.
With your help, we can offer all of this for an absolutely unforgettable experience.
We look forward to welcoming you to our great new family!

HERE A SUCCESSFUL STORY:
Benhur attended twice to the Festival on a full scholarship, thanks to the generous support of our donors.
The process was very slow and sometimes hard - it took us three months. We did not think we could raise enough money and obtain a VISA on time due to a difficult bureaucracy, but in the end, thanks to the work of the Italian Embassy and Asmara (Eritrea) and donors, he could join us.
We were extremely happy and proud to give this fantastic talent an opportunity to travel outside his country as well as participating in an International Music Festival FOR THE FIRST TIME, and to make a big change in his life, but also in the music world.
Right now, he is living in Washington D.C. and is pursuing his career as a singer, thanks also to the support of our faculty member, Christine Moore Vassallo
This is what Benhur said about his donors:
I would like to express my deepest gratitude to you for helping me achieve my dream to be able to participate in a classical music festival, so that it can pave a way for me to pursue proper study and finally have a career in the art form I desired since I was a little kid. At first, it seemed improbable that I would be able to go there until you and people like you courageously and generously donated for me. I just can’t tell how much your generosity has helped me and absolutely opened a path for me to connect to a wonderful teacher at a wonderful festival. (…) By helping me go to that festival, an avalanche of hopeful opportunities hopefully will come rumbling my way to, push me to go further to make my dreams a reality.

Benhur is just one of the musicians we are working with, so YOU CAN BE PART OF A YOUNG MUSICIAN LIFE CHANGE TOO!
Many more collaborations are coming from Venezuela, Bolivia, Afghanistan... so just continue to follow us!
