On May 24th 2019, we have the opportunity to change the landscape of local politics in Limerick. The Social Democrats have selected four outstanding candidates to run for Limerick City & County Council. As a team, we are frustrated with the way your Council operates and promise to bring a refreshing, necessary change to local government.
As you know, the team are already actively campaigning on many issues. The priorities for us for the next Council term are Public Transport, Housing, Tourism & Local Government reform. Together, we can all contribute to a better, more liveable Limerick
To achieve this, we need your help. Elections are hugely expensive and unfortunately, the Social Democrats do not have the financial resources that larger parties do. We are forced to rely on the generosity of those who want to see Limerick fulfil its potential. Each individual donation plays a crucial role and is greatly appreciated. All monies raised will go towards election literature and posters. This is a crucial moment in Irish politics and the Social Democrats believe that with your help, we can make a hugely positive impact on politics in Limerick.
