Lily's Urgent Surgery: Support Needed

Hey everyone

Yesterday I had to take Lily to the emergency vet because she was limping pretty bad and we found out she had a CCL tear and a possible torn meniscus. I was given a ballpark surgery range from $5-10k which all needs to be paid upfront before they will do the surgery. I’m meeting with the vet next week for a consultation but they’re recommending surgery within the next month due to the pain she’s currently in and the potential for her body to try setting the injury itself which will make the pain worse for her. As most of you may know, we are currently in an unbelievable amount of debt from Rory’s cancer diagnose in March of 2024, his surgery following that, and his tests he’s has since getting his LFS diagnosis shortly after. I’m currently working 2 jobs, averaging 70-80 hours a week and donating plasma twice a week to try to get out of the hole that Rory’s medical debt has left us in but Lily’s surgery will literally be impossible to pay for without some sort of help. I’m not one to normally do something like this (and truly never thought I would have to) but Lily means the world to me and shouldn’t have to suffer because of money.

The money will cover her surgery, rehab costs and hopefully Rory’s balance with Texas Children’s Hospital to allow for some peace in our family.
