Hi, my name is Lily and I am running the Bedford GP Marthon on the 3rd August 2025.

I have always been into running and have completed 3 Half Marthons, my PB is 01:54:31.

I decided to choose Enough as the organisation I raise funds for. I think it’s incredible the way they are taking action to help support survivors of rape and deter perpetrators. Enough want to give survivors an easier way to report and create real deterrence through awareness and encouraging the use of self testing kits.

Enough provides Bristol Uni students FREE self testing kits! Anyone is able to purchase one online as well to help victims collect DNA from perpetrators that may be on or inside your body.

Sexual abuse rates are disgustingly high and it’s essential that victims are supported in the best way possible and have justice. In the past year in the UK alone 430,000 rapes have taken place, only 70,000 were reported and only 1,200 rapists have been convicted. Those figures are a prime example why organisations like Enough are Essential to help change these horrifying statistics.

I am aiming to complete this marathon in 04:20:00 but we will see on the day how it goes !!!
