Lily’s Community teaching project in Nepal.

Hi, I’m Lily, I am 15 years old and I have been lucky enough to be selected, by my school, to travel to Nepal in July 2025 on an expedition to explore the culture and to help within a community teaching project at Shubhakamana School in Kathmandu. I will be teaching the children English and I hope that this will help them in their future. This is an amazing opportunity for me to help provide Nepalese children with a good understanding of the English language and for me to experience culturally a lifestyle that is so different to mine. Most of all I am looking forward to meeting the children and helping them on their journey to a good life. Nepal is one of the poorest countries in the world and I hope by going there and helping the children I can make a difference to their lives and help the people of Nepal.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for me and to be able to go I need to raise funds for the community teaching project. I have already raised some of the funds for this project and now plan to walk 15 miles on 5th April. I would really appreciate it if you could help by donating and help me achieve my goal of helping the children of Nepal.
