Lily's 30th: Freeze my eggs
Donation protected
Those of you who know me know I am RUBBISH at asking for help but here I am, swallowing my pride, asking you, for my 30th birthday, please give me the greatest gift of all, help me to preserve my fertility.
Having been diagnosed with severe, stage 4, endometriosis; a 4 cm right ovarian endometrioma, a right haematosalpinx, an obliterated pouch of Douglas and rectovaginal endometriotic nodules, I require surgery that although will hopefully improve my physical and mental health, carries the risk of affecting my fertility and ability to naturally conceive and carry a baby myself.
Because of this I feel that for my own sanity I need to freeze my eggs before moving forward with any operations. This is in the hopes that I can confidently go into the operating theatre knowing I have options, should I need them in the future.
As many of you will know family is THE most important thing to me and I am not ready to give up on the idea of one day having my own family to love and care for.
Unfortunately fertility preservation is a huge financial investment and although I plan to put my savings into this I would be forever grateful if you are able to help with a donation towards my target.
Although I know this will be an emotional, painful and challenging journey it is one I know I have the courage and power to do with my family and friends support.
Thank you forever and always.
