Lily's back surgery

Hello friends, yesterday we had to rush Lily, our 4 year old French Bulldog, who we rescued back in August, to the emergency vets because her back legs stopped working, and she is in a lot of pain, yelping when she moved wrong, or if you touched her lower back.  After staying over night with X-rays and an MRI, she was found to have a herniated disc issue, which involves 4 vertebrae. This requires surgery, and we have been quoted $8000-, could be more, could be less. We have had to use multiple credit cards and savings to pay for this. We would never ask for money this way, but we have lost 2 cats and a dog this year, and we are still hurting right now. The vet we brought Lily to requires payment up front, our regular vet does not. We need your help, please. I know we have helped out our friends throughout the years, financially, emotionally, and with physical labor, so I know we have to have some good juju coming our way... Anything you can give is great, and will be appreciated. Thank you!
