Lily needs help with medical bills and life!!!!

Im sure a lot of you have an idea of what’s going with me medically but not the full story, so what better way to clue everyone in on my status by starting a Go-Fund me. Reaching out for help is not something Ive ever been particularly good at, its probably my least favorite thing to do but unfortunately its my only choice right now.

Almost 4 months ago I was in a pretty bad motorcycle accident while I was on a trip from California to Indiana where I broke my leg in four places and completely dislocated my foot from my leg. The damage in my leg/ankle was really bad as it was so condensed in to such a small area. Healing seemed pretty straight forward except that the surgeons had put hardware in my leg that wasn’t fully sterilized and I was told I was 1% of patients that had bacteria introduced causing a severe infection. Im actually going through a bunch of other stuff that has to do with malpractice, so much so that several people have lawyers getting in touch with me because my particular case is absolutely ridiculous. Anyway, when you have hardware installed to help support your bones, its supposed to be in there for a year before removal. A few weeks ago I had to go in for another surgery to remove all of the hardware and have my leg cleaned out from because my infection turned to Staph and made its way to my bones. Now I am starting this whole process again. Additionally, I now have a 18 gauge PICC line going from my arm to my heart and have to intravenously inject lab made antibiotics every day for the next few months. This is putting me out of work for what could be half a year or more. Those antibiotics are not currently covered by my insurance (1100$/week) and Im now on a payment plan to continue to receive them. I have no way to pay that payment plan and can no longer afford my cellphone, insurance, or even food. The best part is I still don’t know when I will be able to walk. Between hospital bills, gas to drive 1.5 hours away for follow ups, X-rays, and now my antibiotics Im pretty screwed and still have an undetermined amount of time until I am fully healed. With the help of great friends and my savings Ive been able to float myself for the last four months, but now I have no other options financially, when my car insurance goes through today I will be sitting at 0$. Im just looking to get through the next few months and pay my bills. Im also fully able to do any illustration work for yall!
