(ignore the goal i dont want to put any kind of pressure on anyone or seem like im asking for/expecting a lot I just picked a number, If I leave with $.20 i'll be eternally grateful love u)
hey I really hate to do anything like this but im currently working as a teacher making just barely over minimum wage travelling around the state and moneys really tight right now and its getting hard to survive and pay my rent and bills at the same time. I'm usually one bad day away from not being able to pay my bills and it will continue to be that way for at least another five weeks.
obligatory about me I currently work very hard through a great many issues that make existing hard (my anxiety is still really bad [compounded by the # of eyes on my work now that I teach children], I'm constantly battling depression and managing other mental quirks that aren't really accommodated by my new line of work also haha trans girl in a country of people who want her dead) and im proud of my personal effort to stay above water
I can't quit because the nature of my job means these kids rely on me to be there rain or shine and the amount of legwork it would take to fill that gap is unconscionable I can't leave these folks out to dry and I can't have this gap on my resume without being able to use it as a good reference or I'll never find a job in this awful market but I'm not gonna whine about my job or my mental health or everything else thats shit right now im just asking that if you see this and you aren't struggling yourself / and you feel like contributing I would appreciate a few bucks just to make sure I can still get groceries for a few weeks.
im not expecting anything from anyone and honestly it hurts to even ask and ive already put in the work to navigate to a different field that might be a little more stable and fit my uh unique disposition a little more, but until then any help is great help. plus maybe its a tax break or something
