Lily Goes to Washington!

Hi, I'm Lily Zahn. I won the regional level History Day competition in Madison in February and then the state competition in April. I am one of only two students in my category who won the opportunity to travel to Washington D.C. this summer to represent Team Wisconsin in the National level History Day competition and am the first student from Beaver Dam to ever be selected.  I've been working extremely hard for this and am very excited!

Now that I have the opportunity to represent Team Wisconsin, I need some help paying for my trip, especially on such short notice.  I am required to bring an adult with me, so the following costs are for 2 people.

Registration - $150
Food and Lodging - $500 per person
Bus Trip (including educational tours and stops) - $1,200 per person
Total needed - $3,550

** The competition is on June 10th, but I need to raise money by May 15th.  

I will not be able to do this without donations, so any help I get is very appreciated.  Even the smallest donation will make a difference. 

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for me and I am so thankful to all my family, friends, and teachers that have supported me thus far.
