Lilly's Ortho Surgery

This is Lilly. She is a lab mix. She loves to go to the Mississippi River and run and play. We always take a garbage bag with us to pick up litter. Beth went back to her truck to take a full bag of trash and the dogs followed her.  There was a van driving by on  the rural, gravel road. They ran over Lilly and never stopped. I heard her cries and ran to the truck. Lilly's right front leg was deformed and she was bloody and hurting. We drove to Memphis to an Animal ER.  Her bill there for X-rays and diagnosis of a subluxation of her elbow was $1200.00. We took her to an ortho surgeon and the
surgery was 3500.00. All the ligaments around the elbow were torn up and she is pinned back together.
