Our family’s world has just been turned upside down. Hi, my name is Leslee, My 15 yr old niece Lilly has been diagnosed with stage 3c Ovarian Cancer. Lilly and her three young siblings were adopted by their grandparents six years ago. I’m helping to raise money to assist my family during this challenging and long journey. My mom is on a fixed income, and my dad has frequently been missing work as there is no one else to care for the other children while my mom is at the hospital 24/7 with Lilly. Financially, mentally and physically, this has taken a huge toll on our family already. All donations will go to cover the cost of gas going back and forth to St Luke's Downtown Boise, helping with child care for the younger siblings, groceries, getting extra necessities needed for Lilly to come home between treatments, as well as helping to remove some of the financial burdens on the family.
She will need at least a year's worth of chemotherapy treatment and surgery. She will be admitted to the hospital every 21 days for each chemotherapy treatment with 4 to 7 day stays each time.
Lilly's dream is to attend college to be an equine/bovine Veterinarian. She will be a sophomore this year at Columbia High school in Nampa and is active in basketball; and is currently having to take a break from FFA, where she was raising a sheep, Eddie. She is an active member in her church, The Nampa Salvation Army; she loves children and is a hard worker she had 2 jobs to save money for her goals, at the Nampa Salvation Army Summer Day Camp and Jabbers until her ER visit that led to her Diagnosis.
