“Lilly’s Homecoming: Help Us Create a Healing Home”

My name is Michelle Miller, but to Lilly, I am “Mimi,” and I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my daughter, son-in-law, and their incredibly brave little girl.

Lilly was diagnosed with cancer on January 21, 2025, at just four months old. Since that day, their lives have been turned upside down in ways no family should ever have to endure. Lilly has already fought through frontline chemotherapy, entered maintenance, and bravely pushed through 57 days of hope—only to relapse again on February 17, 2026.

Within days, their entire world shifted. On February 21, 2026, they relocated to Memphis so Lilly could receive life-saving treatment at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Since then, both parents have stepped away from work to be by her side every moment, focusing solely on helping their daughter fight for her life.

In her short time on this earth, Lilly has endured more than most of us could imagine—35 times under anesthesia, 63 days of steroids, 91 chemotherapy infusions, 56 days of continuous immunotherapy, and 177 doses of oral chemotherapy… and counting. She has already gone through one clinical trial that did not succeed, and now she is preparing for the next phase of her fight: a bone marrow transplant.

Before this journey began, this young couple had just purchased their first home—a starter home they dreamed of fixing up together. That dream has been put on hold as every ounce of their time, energy, and resources has gone into saving Lilly’s life.

This fundraiser is about stepping in where they simply cannot right now.

OUR GOAL: A SAFE, FRESH START FOR LILLY'S HOMECOMING

While Lilly is bravely fighting for her life, an incredible thing is happening back home.

We have partnered with a local contractor, On a Mission Remodeling, who has stepped forward in the most selfless way imaginable—they are donating 100% of their time and labor to help transform this home for Lilly and her family.

This means every dollar raised will go directly toward materials and essential subcontractor work—maximizing the impact of every donation.

Based on their detailed proposal (over $37,000 in total renovations ), we are working to significantly reduce costs through donations and community support—but we still need help to bring this vision fully to life.

WHAT THIS RENOVATION WILL PROVIDE

This is not about luxury—this is about creating a clean, safe, functional, and healing environment for a medically fragile child returning home after a bone marrow transplant.

The renovation includes:

-A fully updated kitchen so this family can prepare meals safely and comfortably again
-Two remodeled bathrooms, including a safer, more functional shower space
-New flooring throughout the home to create a clean, sanitary environment
-Updated lighting, paint, and finishes to create a bright, uplifting space
-Essential plumbing and electrical updates to ensure everything is safe and reliable

These improvements are critical for a child like Lilly, who will have a compromised immune system and need a carefully maintained home environment.

HOW CAN YOU BE PART OF THIS

We are inviting our community to be part of Lilly’s homecoming in a tangible way.

Sponsor a Space
$5,000 – Room Sponsor (Kitchen, Bathroom, or Major Space)
$2,500 – Build Partner
$1,000 – Project Supporter
$500 – Community Contributor

Donate from your Heart
$10-$499 - Every donation matters

Every donation—large or small—moves us closer to the moment when this family walks through their front door and feels the love that was built into every corner of their home.

WHY THIS MATTERS

This family cannot focus on home renovations right now—and they shouldn’t have to. Their only job is to help Lilly heal.

Our job is to make sure that when they come home after months in Memphis at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, they are walking into a space that reflects hope, strength, and a community that carried them through.

HELP US CREATE THE MOMENT THEY DESERVE

If you’ve ever wondered how you can truly make a difference—this is it. Let’s come together to give Lilly and her family not just a home…
…but a place to begin again.
