Our sweet Lilly Ann Caldonia Lackey was born on May 26, 2025, with Atrial Tachycardia and Congested Heart Failure . Recently, due to the start of her losing weight, failure to thrive and breathing restrictions, the decision was made by her cardiologist to immediately admit her to Levine Children's Hospital in Charlotte on August 13, 2025. She is currently on several medications multiple times a day for her heart, lungs, and stomach. We've had multiple rough days, but the doctors have been able to finally help make her comfortable. Lilly is such a happy baby, and even though she's struggling, she still has been giving us smiles.

We are meeting with her cardiologists and the surgical team Tuesday to discuss the plan with surgery, and what the best approach will be for her. They have discussed multiple options, and they are trying to figure out which direction will have the best outcome for Lilly. Needless to say, we have a long road ahead of us.

We are just praying and asking for prayers. Lilly has two immediate older sisters, Emery and Rubilynn. They are two of the sweetest kids you could ever meet; they have been amazing with everything going on. It's made us all have to adjust to things rather fast, facing new hurdles daily. With her long stay at the hospital, with me missing a lot of work staying with her 24/7, and her dad and sisters continually driving over an hour back and forth to visit, it has started to create some financial stress.
