Hello! My name is Ghost, and this lovely kitty cat is Lilly. Lilly is in need of some minor surgery, and we are in need of some help for surgery funds!
Lilly is a sweet, sensitive, and very soft 12-year-old cat. I've been fostering Lilly (and her pal Titan) for the past year. When I first met Lilly, she had a small blob on her head about the size of a pea. We got it checked out by her vet and found that it was a benign pilar cyst. At that point, it wasn't causing her any problems, so we decided to leave it be and keep an eye on it.
Unfortunately, over the months that followed, the cyst continued to grow; it's now over an inch in diameter. She keeps scratching it open since it's so large and itchy, causing more pain and risking infection. Additionally, a second cyst has started to form in her ear, where it will impede her hearing if it grows much larger. We talked to her vet, and the vet agrees: it's time it get the blobs removed.
We were able to get a good discount on the surgery, but the estimated bill is still quite steep: low end $768.93, high end $961.16. We're looking to get some financial help to make Lilly's cyst removal happen!
If we manage to raise more than the full amount needed for the surgery, any additional funds will go towards follow-up care and paying off Lilly's existing vet bills. Thanks so much!
