Brenda Curry's Legacy Continued for Lilly & Claire
On Sunday, April 25, 2021, our BNI community and the world beyond lost a vibrant light with the passing of Brenda Curry, a deeply beloved and irreplaceable wife, mother, grandmother, wonderful boss, mentor, ally, and friend. Brenda was always quick with a smile, generous with her time and energy for all, and loved her family profoundly. Brenda considered BNI an extension of her own bloodline, and treated the BNI community with the same adoration, dedication, and selflessness.
As many know, Brenda was tragically diagnosed with Creutzfeldt - Jakob Disease, a rare, degenerative, and fatal brain disorder, in early April of this year. In the Curry / Langton families’ darkest hours, just six days before Brenda’s passing, a little bundle of joy, Lilly Langton, entered the world bright-eyed and healthy on April 19, 2021, born to Brenda’s daughter, Lauren Langton and her husband, Matt. The joy of this addition to Brenda’s family could only match one other addition, being the birth of Brenda’s first grandchild, Claire Curry, born on September 4, 2020 to Brenda’s son, Nick Curry and his wife, Christina. To say that Brenda cherished and adored being a grandmother is an immense understatement.
With so many family and friends of Brenda asking how to best support her family in the days, weeks, months, and years ahead, these inquiries have culminated in establishing a trust fund, in Brenda’s honor, to raise money for the futures of her two granddaughters, Lilly Langton and Claire Curry. This fund will provide assistance now and ideally long into the future for the benefit of Lilly and Claire, for their health, support, education, and further establishing themselves in their own lives. As so much of Brenda’s legacy has been born out of her giving spirit and compassionate heart, we hope to continue her legacy with this Trust fund and carry Brenda’s memory forward honorably, especially for her two young granddaughters.

The Curry / Langton families have been so tremendously grateful for the love and support they have received to date, and will always be eternally appreciative for the generosity extended to their families in the midst of this overwhelming loss. As Brenda has left her mark on the hearts of people quite literally around the globe, sharing of this Trust Fund for Lilly Langton and Claire Curry would be extremely welcome and treasured.
