Lilly Brain Stroke Recovery

Hi! My Name is Anitha Grover Dsouza and I am fundraising for my Mother Lilly Dsouza 80 yrs old. Would appreciate you taking time to read my story.

Dear Friends and families, we are sorry to put you all in such a position as I desperately need some help for my mother recovery from Ischaemic stroke. She arrived in Australia on 1st sept 2023 to visit me, my husband and grand kids. On 6th Sept 2023 she had a stroke. She is now paralysed on her whole left side. She is being treated at the Royal Melbourne hospital and doctors drain the blood clot. But according to doctors for her further rehabilitation and Physiotherapy she needs to be given immediately rehab and physio to recover fast and the insurance cover she is basically on doesn’t cover rehab and after care. So she is being asked to repatriate fly back to Home country asap where she can be given rehab continuously for next 3 to 9 months and to get her back from here and continue her rehabilitation is more expensive than we thought so are creating this fund to raise some of AUD 60000.00, Which can cover her and 2 medical escorts flights, also in hospital rehab treatment & Physiotherapy treatment for next 6 months in India so she can get back her normal life back.
