Scott Lillo is a person who has spent most of his life trying to make the Twin Ports community a better place. His efforts often go unnoticed as a “behind the scenes” guy, organizing fundraising events for others, providing gear or advice, donating time, money, and energy to causes, or just plain showing up and enjoying the event after obnoxiously championing whatever it is.
He is rarely the person ever asking for help and but now it’s time for us to give back to him!
Recently, in under three months, Scott's been to the hospital twice for unrelated reasons. One was due to a long-term issue, and the other was for an emergency surgery that will require follow-up appointments. Ya sprinkle in a little COVID within that time frame and that is what has been cooking in the life of Lillo! Because of all of this, Scott has also missed a lot of work which only makes the ever-rising medical bills even more difficult to cover...
He has racked up close to $30,000 in medical bills and he is without insurance. Like many folks in our country, he makes too much to qualify for affordable health insurance or financial aid but doesn’t make enough money to afford an ever-expanding medical bill of around $30K.
Let’s show him that good karma does come back to him and help him through some of these financial burdens. The first goal for this GoFundMe is $10,000.00. Between this and the fundraising events, let's get Scott out of the red and some pep in his step!
