Lillie was diagnosed with a pituitary brain tumor as a child, which recurred about 15 years ago – shortly after Lillie and Matt were married. They have two daughters, Ariel (12) and Avery (9), who they consider their miracles since doctors never thought it possible for her to have children. It's been a bumpy ride since, with numerous surgeries, many treatments, and countless happy memories along the way. Despite Lillie’s relentless perseverance and the very best efforts of doctors, family, and friends, she is now in hospice care. Amazingly, she still maintains a positive attitude - something we can all learn from.
