Lillian's Battle With Stage 4 Colorectal Cancer

Lillian completed surgery and is healing well.She cannot lift more than 10 pounds and is still recovering.She has Stage 4 Cancer which she has been told is no longer curable and has mesastized to her liver adn lymph nodes in her abdomen.She is in good condition currently has the Cancer has shrunk after 4 rounds of outpatient chemo.She will be staying on chemo as long as her body can handle it.She cannot work due to alot of treatments and her surgery.Any help would be amazing.Keep us in your prayers as you will be in ours too,Miracles Happen!

Unfortunately, Lillian's cancer has advanced from Stage 3 to Stage 4. Tomorrow morning, on 01/17/2024, she will undergo Colostomy Surgery and a second procedure to eliminate the cancer from her body. Your prayers for Lillian's well-being and a swift recovery would mean a lot to us. Due to her health condition, she is unable to work and will be on bed rest for several months. Hi, my name is Niloufar Oloomi and I'm fundraising for my sister Lillian Oloomi. My sister sadly has had a rough history of Cancer. Starting at age 13 she was diagnosed with Leukemia but fortunately, after many years of treatments, she was finally cured and healthy again. She has been living a great healthy life for 28 years until unfortunately, she developed a new form of cancer. She had some bleeding a few months back and after having several tests including a colonoscopy she was diagnosed with Stage 3 Colorectal Cancer. The first step is chemotherapy (which is the step she is currently on), the second step will be radiation therapy, and lastly, she will have to do surgery to try to remove any remaining cancers. My sister has always been a fighter and considering everything she is going through she is still going to work but has to constantly miss days of work due to weakness from the chemotherapy. The doctors told us that if she rests and takes care of herself she can heal faster and even possibly not have to do the surgery. I started this GoFundMe to help take pressure and stress off my sister's body so she can stay home and heal. The medical bills are also adding up and many of the treatments and management approaches aren’t covered entirely by her insurance. With reduced income and health insurance limitations, the financial strain will be significant and overwhelming for her.
