Lillian Parkinson:
We are all born from a mother. Some of us are distant from our mothers. Some of us never know our mothers. Some of us adore our mothers. My mother was a truly amazing woman. She taught me what true ‘Grace’ looked like under pressure. She never said no to an outreached hand and she spread her love to families all around her; love that has lasted for years, even generations, in the families she has affected.
Sadly, my mother’s life here on this earth has come to an end. Her firm belief in the Lord is the only thing that keeps me, and my son, afloat these days. Knowing that she has arrived in the most magical of places helps me know that God is good and that she is finally at peace.
I am in need of some help though. I am struggling to pay my mothers funeral fees and I’m hoping that the kindness my mother shared with so many might come back to her in a time when it’s needed most.
I’m not asking for anything for myself, or even for my son. I simply want to lay my mother to rest in the dignified manner possible.
If you are able, please consider donating in my mothers memory.
Thank you & may God bless you.
