Lilian's Brain Cancer Journey

Lilian Blackman was diagnosed with a rare brain cancer called DIPG (diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma). It is inoperable and has a zero survival rate at this time.

 

Lilian will be undergoing radiation therapy in hopes of slowing the progression of the tumor. She is being treated at UNC Chapel Hill and the family will have to go back and forth for her care. Along with medical bills, they will still have to pay their other bills as well. Also, they have another precious 5 year old daughter, Everly, to care for.
