Hi, I am fundraising for my daughter Lilian. Lilian has been accepted into a program that trains service dogs from birth till they are ready to be working dogs. This process has been several months in the making. Lilian has gone through several interviews, home studies, and more to get to this point. She will be needing to attend (4) weeklong training sessions, take classes, attend group sessions, learn to care for the service dogs and much more. With the amount of work and time needed to participate this obviously comes with a high cost. The foundation covers 90k of the costs through donations, but the rest is up to her to fundraise for.

She will be matched with a dog who chooses her and our family. They do not just place a dog into a home without serious consideration on the candidate and his/her needs, their home environment, the ability to care for the service dog, etc. Lilian is younger than most who are chosen to receive a working service dog. Due to her diagnosis, they felt that a service dog would be the best way to improve her quality of life, assist her with everyday tasks, alert her, calm her, and help to make her more independent, and allow her the ability to not fear everyday tasks.

Lily may look like a typical kid on the outside but inside she is not able to function like the rest of her peers. These unseen disorders make it hard for her to participate in activities, go to school, live without fear, complete normal routine tasks and much more. She is a very kind, compassionate, and loving girl who just struggles to be "normal". All she begs for and wants is to be able to function and enjoy life like her peers. Find joy and happiness in being a kid.
