It’s with a heavy heart and profound sadness that we announce the untimely passing of Lili’s husband, Jamison Smith.
For all that knew him, he was a beloved husband, father, friend, homie, and all-around amazing human, the first to step in to support anyone and take the shirt off his back to make your day a little easier.
Jamison was an immaculate soul and authentically amazing friend, and we will miss him forever and we are all in shock.
He lived 49 full and glorious years encompassing love, family, friendship, kindness and resilience; and manifesting with genuine intention all the dreams and desires he so deserved, along with his beloved wife, Lili.
Simply put, Jamison was one helluva a guy and was loved and celebrated by all that knew him.
He was an amazing husband to Lili and they didn’t leave each other’s side for their 9 year union—soulmates in it’s purest form; ride or die truly exemplified between their ferocious love and companionship they shared.
Sadly, he died suddenly and unexpectedly this last Monday morning, February 24th, around 11am, of a cardiac ruptured aorta.
They tried to save him for over an hour and managed to get him to the hospital by ambulance but unfortunately, the damage was too great and he passed.
As these things are so sudden and unforeseen, it has left his household of his wife Lili and his son Jaime Andres, in financial distress. Jamison was the principal earner and provider for the family and there was not life insurance to cover this tragic event.
This Go-Fund me will be to help cover the initial costs of cremation and memorial services with the remainder to cover the high cost of rent, utilities, groceries, and credit card debt and to continue to support Lili and Jaime Andres in their home. They had recently moved into a gorgeous single-family home and we are hoping these donations can keep them afloat there until things smooth out over time.
We all know how expensive rent and living in San Diego is, and they’ll need some financial support in the interim to balance out the burden of loss and financial struggle, and to help cover mere necessities so they do not lose their house. A house they made a home and filled with so much of their love together.
Memorial to follow in San Diego at some point. There will also be a memorial in his hometown of Chico, California.
We will also be setting up a Remembrance Page on Facebook, where all can share their pictures and fond memories of Jamison, and where we will be communicating further details of memorial and funeral proceedings.
Thanks you all from the bottom of our hearts for the support and love you have shown Lili & Jaime Andres is this tragically difficult time.
Together we can honor the legacy and the man that Jamison was and keep Lili & Jaimie in their loving home.
