Hello, I’m Lili Flitcroft, a student at Oxford Brookes studying Biological sciences (Zoology) . I am asking for your help to fund a once-in-a-lifetime dissertation expedition to Madagascar with Operation Wallacea, where I will be conducting critical research on the endangered Coquerel’s sifaka (Propithecus coquereli) A species that is on the edge of extinction. I will be collecting data on its demography and spatial ecology.
Your donation will go directly towards funding research equipment, field supplies, and living expenses too spend 6-7 weeks (18 June- 31 July 2025). This expedition is not only an academic opportunity but a crucial step toward my career in conservation. Throughout my life, I have been driven to help conserve endangered speices. Anyone that knows me knows that I have a passion for animals and this dissertation represents the years of hard work and dedication. the lemurs are in a declining population with factors like hunting, deforestation and climate chnage affecting them. The data I gather will contribute to ongoing conservation efforts.
