Vanessa Garitano & Devon Roberts have created this fundraiser for our very close friend Kassidee & her daughter Lila Rae. Here is Kassidee to tell you what is going on...
"Lila Rae was born January 30, 2017, we were so excited to finally be holding our sweet baby girl, although recently (on April 10) Lila was officially diagnosed with a form of craniosynostosis which is a deformity of the skull that could lead to major deformation and possible harm to the brain if not corrected. Finding out our little girl will have to undergo major skull surgery where part of her skull will be removed as well as major incisions to other parts of her skull and a possible blood transfusion all to my tiny 2.5 month old is truly heart shattering and shocking. As many of you already know, we do have insurance although it unfortunately comes with an EXTREMELY RIDICULOUSLY high deductible as well as our family being in the transition of a job change which would be a cut to our household income. We always appreciate all the prayers from each of you all over the world and I cant express my gratitude enough for wrapping Lila in your prayers and thoughts. Many of you have asked what you can do to help and every little bit helps even if it is sharing this page and continuing to pray for our little girl as surgery approaches on Wednesday, April 19 at 9:30 am. Thank you again.
