Please help Lila (Updated).

Today (Nov 3, 2016) at around 4:00 PM, my dog Lila was struck by a motor vehicle and sustained some very serious injuries, including a badly fractured pelvis and ruptured bladder.

Thanks to the quick actions of a witness, she was taken to the Granville Island Animal Hospital whom contacted myself through micro-chip identification. She has been transferred to the Vancouver 24 Hour Animal Hospital, where she can receive around the clock care.

She appears to be stabilizing but is by no means out of the woods yet.

I have already spent $3000 today just to get her to this point and the care and surgeries that lie ahead will be expensive, to say the least.

I have never been one to ask for help but it appears as though, this time I will need some.

Anything and everything is appreciated more than words can convey. If by some miracle, more funds are raised than necessary, any excess will be donated to the BC SPCA.
