For those of you who don’t know us, Lil Swiss Farms is a small micro greens and edible flower farm located in Waldport on the central Oregon coast. We have been in business for over 5 years servicing our Organic Food Stores, local restaurants, and individual home deliveries during the Covid outbreak from Lincoln City to Florence, Oregon.

For the past two years we have been struggling with a stable location – both for ourselves and for the business. Last year we had to move twice – the first time because our landlord turned our home of over 7 years into an Air B&B; the second time because of flooding in the business. Real world issues hit hard when they hit you. We thought we had found our perfect home last fall but to our great dismay we are having to move once again and right now we need a small miracle. The kind only you can help provide.

Anyone familiar with the Oregon coastal area knows how scarce available – affordable – rental housing is. As we speak we cannot find anything in even a 2 bedroom for under $2,000 per month in our reasonable delivery area that will accommodate our business.

It makes no sense to continue trying to find rental property when the cost far exceeds the purchase of a home and true home security. Being home insecure is no joke and no fun. I have paid upwards of $1,600 per month in rent for years but because I’m ‘Self Employed’ my income doesn’t seem to count for as much needed when it comes to qualifying for a mortgage.

The point is, Lil Swiss Farms is a good bet; for Lane and Lincoln Counties. We’ve never been late once on a payment for anything. We’re established; one of the only microgreen growers in the area with a solid customer base and we want to stay here. Please help us keep a local farm going. We need to save our business, save our hens, and save our sanity; we are passionate about farming and want to continue for as long as we possibly can.

We have found the perfect property in Lane County. It will allow us to rebuild our edible flower garden and has the perfect space for our micro greens; but we need your help. The money will go toward the downpayment for purchasing, moving to, and establishing a permanent home for Lil Swiss Farms; for ensuring the property has the infrastructure required to continue business uninterrupted to the best of our ability. We have pre-approval funding in place for the mortgage and just need your help to get over the hump.

Any customer of ours – Past, Present or Future – who donates over $1,000 will receive a 10% discount on all their orders throughout 2023; $1,500 will receive a 20% discount on all their orders throughout 2023. Customers are limited to our delivery area please.
