This is an urgent plea with a deadline for a very worthy pup. Lil Sis was originally set to be killed on Saturday January 20 but she’s still alive - we now have to raise funds to send her to board and train. If we can do that a rescue will take her.

Lil Sis is only 14 months old and has had a rough start to life. She was living on the streets and turned into East Valley Animal Shelter in November of 2023 as a stray. The person bringing her in claimed that she had an alleged bite incident (details unknown) involving a smaller dog.

She’s only had positive notes from volunteers since coming in. She has been easy to leash and takes treats gently. She’s a sweet goofy girl that loves to play and be pet and deserve a chance at life. She’s been in playgroup with dogs her size and done well.

If we can raise the funds for a minimum of 3 months (preferably 4 months) of board and train (which is 500$ a month) we have a rescue wanting to take her. Since seemingly all rescues are full at the moment and barely any take dogs with a potential bite history, this is a huge offer and will save her life. This would also enable her to get properly trained and be prepared to be the pet of a loving family and live the great life she deserves.
