Lil Rev Needs Our Help

Hi, My name is Marcy Marxer. Cathy Fink, Ben Hassenger and I are part of the "Rev Recovery Team". We know that you'll want to join the team, too.

Lil Rev one of our favorite ukulele players and teachers, needs our help.

 

Rev has a massive infection in his upper gumline caused by a cyst, that's spread into the bone.

 

He's assembled a team of doctors and an oral surgeon for surgical removal of the cyst and infected teeth, reconstruction and cosmetic dental work.

 

The bill for this work, is upwards of $11,000 for the surgical intervention.

 

This comes at a time when Rev is only now  just starting to get back to regular gigging, after 2 years of trying to make it thru the pandemic working online. 

 

The good news is, his insurance is going to cover approximately $4,000 towards the cost and an anonymous donor has already committed $1,000 to the campaign. 

 

With the surgery and needed recovery time, the goal is to raise $8,000 to cover his portion of the medical bill and a little extra. 

 

We think it's a crime that the artists of our nation are not better protected from financial ruin brought on by medical emergencies. 

We want Rev to know that we're here to help our friends the best that we can.
